Committee for Population Management
WAZA CPM promotes global cooperation among Regional and Nationl Associations for effective population management in zoos and aquariums. They also support capacity building, host and plan the Joint TAG Chairs Meeting, and enhance conservation impact through strategic alliances.

Ethics and Animal Welfare
The WAZA EAWC’s objectives include making recommendations to the WAZA Council on animal welfare best practices, promoting member compliance with the WAZA Code of Ethics, the WAZA 2023 Animal Welfare Goal and WAZA’s Animal Welfare Strategy, collaborating with partners to enhance animal welfare in zoos and aquariums globally.

Finance
The WAZA Finance Committee is responsible for advising the Council on matters pertaining to the WAZA’s financial health and stability. This includes monitoring its operational revenues and expenses, accounts, and potential investments, and addressing any issues of a financial nature as may be assigned by the WAZA Council. The Finance Committee is also responsible for initiating an annual audit by selecting an appropriate entity qualified to conduct such activities and processes.Â
